The Pentel Orenz Nero is a slick and low-key choice that features a revolutionary mechanism that automatically dispenses lead after each scribble. The pencil is a metal and resin hybrid, which not only gives the body a matte black look, but a matte feel. Since this pencil is only available in lead sizes of 0.2 and 0.3, it is an excellent choice for precision art and writing. No matter how worn down the lead becomes after writing, it’ll guarantee you thin and clean lines regardless of the angle in which you hold it in. This model has a geometric grip, narrowing down to the nib which is retractable. It forces you to write in a classic handwriting style, and does not offer many comfortable writing positions. Though this may be the case, for me it specializes very much in writing and proves to be an excellent tool for doing so. At a hefty price of 18 dollars, I think the luxurious feel makes up for it.
