The Pentel Graphgear 1000 is by far my most favorite pencil. It is a very popular choice among artists and engineers alike, as it features a heavy aluminum alloy body which brings it a lot of stability when it writes. The knurled grip combined with a rubber grip allows you to hold this pencil tightly without discomfort in a variety of angles, and as far up and as far down you hold it will not affect your penmanship. Because of its long head from grip to nib, the force of your writing will result in finer lines than other pencils of the same lead size. When you’re all done, the clip can un-snap and the tip will retract within the body of the pencil, keeping your belongings and pockets safe. Overall with being pricey at around 12 dollars, this is worth the money.
